    Router issues

    Whats wrong with my router?
ive got a Belkin F5D7630-4A can be seen Here
The problem is that it cant seem to maintain line sink, it just drops all the time! i think it started happening some time after i was upgraded to 1mb. There is no fault with the router its self as i have tested at peoples houses and it works! i cant work out whats wrong with it its just over a year old now so iam not sure i can much with it apart from add it to the pile of things that dont work! it does have a life time warrenty but iam not sure thats much good if its 100% working.

Has any body else had a similar problem like this?

It's your line. Contact your ISP.

It seems as though your Belkin router doesn't maintain as good line sync as your as your other two modems. You could try and get BT to sort your problem out but according to this thread http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,13589232
you may be out of luck.

thanks for that link very helpful!
iam slightly annoyed with this as you can imagine! especially when i buy a router and it can no longer work properly because BT are crap! iam having to run an old P4 to supply the internet connection to all the other pc's in the house! the old Dell p4 1.7ghz is suffering a slow death! since ive put all this extra load on it, its had various problems with fans/cooling and booting I really need my router back!
