Signal boosters..

What are the best means to make a signal booster for wireless cards / router. I've heard that putting a CD upside down on on the antenna helps?

I've read CPC's article on making their one too, but I don't have the materials at the time being I don't think, so maybe something a bit quicker?

Basically I need to get 100% signal on my gaming PC or else I get unacceptable pings in CSS, but I also need to get respectable %s (50ish) on my other 2 PCs. Currently to get all 3 on, I get about 60% on my gaming machine, which isn't enough to play CSS on...

Yes, yes it would, you need to check your connections on your router though, and that of scans product. There are RPTNC or RPSMA, and brands vary to which they use. To give you an idea how much better, on paper, that antenna could be, most are roughly 2db
