Any card that is compatible with both your operating system and the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to. If you are in Vancouver, you should get a North American standard card - European versions have a couple more channels and are probably not licensed for use in North America (although I use a UK version when travelling in the States. Any card compatible with IEEE 802.11g should be fine.

My broadband speed - 750 Meganibbles/minute
Any will do TBH... I use 2 sweex ones in my house and they both work fine connecting to my Kcorp router.
Make Sure All Your Components (router, Receiver Etc) Are From The Same Manufacturer. Helps With Speed, Signal Quality Etc.
Thats true up to a point, and makes compatability much easier, however it doesnt have to be. any decent wireless card (I've used belkin, then 3com) and they both worked perfectly in every situation i tried - working with corporate networks and home ones. So meh, if its for a home wireless network get all the stuff from the same manufacturer out of convienience more than anything
