    http://www.netgear.co.uk/pdfs/gs608.pdf is the spec

It seams pretty decent, i'm not looking at any others for your, as i'm guessing this is the cheapest most astetically pleasing your intrested in.

It has a 16Gbps bandwidth (which is perfect for a cheap 8port unmanaged 1gb switch). Latency is very acceptible, but only 1mb buffer, but as long as you don't have a bottleneck on the switch, that will never be a problem.

What are you using it for?

Have you seen something cheaper than you'd rather save money and go for?

id rather have something thats future proof within reasonable cost i dont mind paying a bit more for it

will be used in conjunction with a wireless router

i want to create a network and share my blueyonder connection with the switch and add in a wireless router to give me wireless for my wireless devices i was told this would be the best option to have a seperate gigabit switch and wireless router?
