    Not happy with Bulldog

I have switched over my phone line to Bulldog as well as being on there 8MB package I'm not happy paying £55 a month when new people who sign up only have to pay £9.99 a month for the life of the contract. Shall I switch back to BT and go with another service? Which compaines have 1 month contracts with no sign-up fee and offer 8MB with no download limit?

Can't help you, but has anyone seen their unbelievably pretentious advert on TV. Made me feel sick!

Have you asked them to regrade you ?
I know when UKonline did this, a simple call / email / update in your control pannel let you have access to them at the same price

I have been told NTL and tiscali also allows this, but only if you give them a ring asking about the price cut.

    Dear Mr. Flood,

One month voice line rental credit on your next Bulldog bill.

Your next Bulldog bill will contain a credit which is equivalent to one
    month voice line rental.

We are giving you this credit in recognition of the inconvenience that you
may have experienced over the summer. During the months of July and
August in particular, a number of our customers had problems contacting
customer service. This credit is our way of saying sorry to you.

We want to reassure you that we are continuously striving to improve our
service - and we would like to thank you for being a Bulldog customer.

    Yours sincerely,

    The Bulldog Billing Team

I'm with Bulldog 8m but i must admit the customer service is non-existant and the phone line is shocking.....

If I wasn't moving in a few months I'd move away from Bulldog.

If I have one piece of advice, it's stay away at all costs.....

I left Bull**** about a month ago. I got the same e-mail - should be a refund of about £10 then!!

I am sooo glad i left.

I am currently with Plusnet and whilst the line etc is very good - i am witholding judgement as a whole until I have had the line a while.

P.S. I am still trying to get through to Bull**** about paying my bill - seems that nobody wants to answer my call.

    Never mind eh!

It doesn't meet your specification but I recommend them nonetheless: Eclipse internet. I chose them for customer service over speed and I cannot fault them so far. Plus they let you 'FLEX' your connection up to 2MB for free until the end of the year, great deal.

Flex is a service Eclipse offer which means the customer can turn up their bandwidth from say 512k to 2mb by going to the Eclipse website.
