Bridging connections/access points

Hi.

I am in a house at uni with a wireless router, all the computers are wireless. I am on the top floor and get excellent signal with my pc, the girl in the room next to mine gets poor signal/connection to the router dropping all the time (due to her cheapo wireless card.) I was wondering if it is possible for me to let her access my wireless card from her computer and then it link to the router downstairs and out onto the net.

This would mean she would have the same signal strength as me?

Can this actually work? i only have 1 wirless card.

i am running win2k3 server.
she is running win2k

How do you know its her wireless card - could just be the location - have you tried swapping wireless cards? You could use your computer as a gateway (running a cable from an ethernet port on her computer to an ethernet port on yours, but that would mean your computer would have to be on all the time. Better to see if it IS the wireless card - if it is, change it, if it isn't try repositioning the computer OR get a wireless card that has provision for an external antenna.
