    Cheap Broadband!

    I am a member of a few forums and when one told me i could get 2mb uncapped for £14.99 i was like "Hell yeh!" its with a company called IDnet - their customer service has been excellant so far!

    Getting connected on Monday cannot wait !!

    From what people have said they are reliable and fast - hopfully they will live up to this
    just thought as a memeber of Hexus i had to share this with you guys!

    Hope it works out for you dude. In my experience you get what you pay for with ISPs but I hope I'm wrong

    I'd be interested to hear what what latency you get in Counter-Strike: Source

    You say you get what you pay for - but they charge £24.99 normally for 2mb - this is an offer that not every one can get.

    on to CS:S it will be interesting indeed - one person who is already on the service gets the lowest ping out of every on in his clan, theres a screen shot some were on the SX forum which shows his ping at like 17ms and every one elses is 30 - 40

    the reason you get lower pings is this...

    the idnet conenction has a DIRECT line straight through to the SX servers, so you basically are on a LAN

    if you have this offer then you are also on a differnt exchange to normal idnet users, so you also have a quicker line to other uk servers, hence the low ping.

    ramedge, "ins" in our clan reckons he gets better bullet reg aswell on idnet, but im too much of a noob to notice either way.
