The D-Link Wireless 108MBPS Gaming Router worth it?

Ive been slow to get a new wireless router and i have recently seen this.
Are there any other similar products about for less?

ive seen some other ones with bandwidth management where you can specify which IP address and apps to give priority too
but i wonder if this works differently and doesnt need tinkering with again and again.

for example compared to the features of

Basically, its QoS renamed to GamerFuel or whatever they call it, I've never used it, but I've heard its a bit of a gimmick. I don't use QoS anyway, I pause downloads if I want to game anyway

As for wireless, I still don't think its particularly brilliant for gaming on.

    Linksys fanboy over and out

Never used a piece of Asus networking equipment before, but then do offer some nice features

Wireless is ok for gaming, aslong as theirs no interfearance. Otherwise packet loss galore. If you can your best off running a wire to wherever, but If thats really not a possibility just go for a linksys, netgear, or belkin, they all seem pretty good.

It does shedule packets better if someone else is killing your connection (Shared house) etc, So It could be worth it.

Gaming wirelessly (with the now broken dlink router) was fine. But saying that i connect
    by ethernet anyway.

The main reason to get this is playing a game while someone else would be surfing on
another computer. Looking at toms hardware review below it does seem to have a
good effect, see game fuel test at the bottom.

    http://www.tomsnetworking.com/Review...ID-DGL4300.php

    The asus says this

    ***
    Bandwidth Management
This function allows easy management of the selected application (port) or IP address in the network to prioritize Internet traffic and optimize network resources. With this feature, the Internet transmission will not slow down even when someone in the home network is carrying out P2P download.

    WMM
This special feature controls bandwidth between the head-end (Access Point) and the client-end (computer), and users the option to decide if this feature should be enabled. Applications are sorted into four categories to which the amount of bandwidth is allocated accordingly. Users can now choose to prioritize programs and applications to ensure smooth operation as well as effective usage of resources.
    ***

I dont need gigabt ethernet at all so if the asus can do the same thing by just giving priority to an IP address then there seems little point geting the Dlink one. Hard to know
if there is anything more to the dlink or not.
