NOOB-Can someone Ps check my Netgear rules for emule!

    Hi

I am on a 2mb Aol line & have recently upgraded from a usb modem to a Netgear DG834 router which i changed password and is on default settings which is causing a low id with emule. I have read the portforward site on how to set it up which seems to be working ok (i think) as the blindfold has now gone giving me back a high ID ...But i am now worried that i may of let in more than i expected probally me being paranoid but can you PS take a look!

1.First i set up 3 services ports for emule: tcp4711,udp4672 & tcp4662 via the security section.

2.Then the same settings again on the 'Firewall Rules' section (inbound) all are set to 'Always allow'.

3.Under 'Wan setup' its set to; 'Connect automaically as required' and the default DMZ server is unchecked!

I have also put my Lan ip as 168.192.X.XXX which is a number inbetween my 'Starting ip address'and my 'Ending ip address' in the 'use router asDHPC server'

Not sure if this helps you! Any advice will be great as it will put my mind at ease

I am getting a wee bit worried now, is it normal for my IP address to be very very close simular to my DHCP server, Default Gateway & Dns server?

What? dhcp server is 192.168.0.1 and your ip is 192.168.0.2? Or 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2?
