    AOL Router

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a wireless router that works with AOL?
I've heard that some routers dont work with AOL, don't ask me why...
My friend wants to go wireless but I don't know what type of modem thay have, I'm guessing it is the free one they give you with AOL broadband.

The cheaper the better, prefereably from Scan if possible. Any make but Linksys. (Unless its uber cheap!)

    Cheers.

When I used to use AOL, I had a few routers that worked fine with it, but on all the computers you need to change the MTU to 1400 for it to work.

    Thanks for replying.
I was thinking along the lines of this one.

Do you think that would be suitable?

I have that router and it's fab. Remember to upgrade the firmware though from www.trendnet.com.

As for working with AOL....don't have a clue.

No problem. Shame it's no longer the "No brainer of the week" at £28
