Angry Please Stop Me Going Mad!!!!!

Just set up the sharing of my net connection with a D-Link DSL-504 today, and I'm stuck. I can connect to the internet through the router, but I cannot get file sharing to work. I've gone through the XP wizard 3 or 4 times now to no avail. The machines will not ping each other, although they can ping the router and they can ping themselves. Any suggestions???

Just to clear up a bit. I've managed to set up the router (sort of), and can connect to the internet through it from both machines, just cannot share files or ping each other Grrrrr.

    No, it's not.
If you're running ZoneAlarm on a PC not directly connected to the internet, of course you're going to have problems! Same with any firewall...
