Hi!
I've got an ad-hoc wireless network running between my two PCs at the mo, both have identical Gigabyte PCI 54mps Wireless Lan cards. The only problem is I never get 52mps, it always shows up as 11mps. How can I fix this?

What is the distance between the two devices? Has it been specifically enabled on both machines? 54Mb devices usually have a basic speed of 22Mb - the higher throughput is obtained with some form of compression.

They are about five metres apart, through a wall. I have a horrible feeling that in Ad-Hoc mode almost every wireless device is lmited to 11mbps....
