LAN not working after installing certain programs

Need help here.

I'm running WinXP SP1.
Got a problem.
My wireless LAN is working fine until today.
The only thing NEW I've installed is philips webcam and MSN messenger 6.
Since then I'll keep on getting "Cannot find server" typical error page.
I've uninstalled the webcam driver program and messenger 6 --- still getting that page.
Any solution from any wise guys / girls out there ???

You said your LAN stopped working but the errors you mention sound like it's a problem getting online. Can you see other PC's on your network?

Try running the internet connection wizard in Internet Explorer.

Check your IP stack and see if anything funky got put in there from the camera software. The networking protocols load from the top down and it sounds like a new protocol may have been introduced and could be loading before the one you really need.
