I'm with Utilitywarehouse (https://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk) for £16.99 I get 1.1mbps, Unlimited Downloads and 10 E-mail Addresses, the Connection is reliable and the Customer Service great.

They may not be the cheapest but I'd recommend them to anyone.

NTL are doing my head in at the moment, were having massive latency issues, which they continue to blame on our router, despite the fact that we have the same problems with one thats an entirely different brand.

Been using Nildram for the past ~3 years. Been no real problems in this time that i can remember.

I'm on 2mbit but they are moving everyone to 8 shortly.

I think i'm on their Broadband 2 option at £25.99 a month. I get a static IP and 50gig a month of downloads during peak hours 08:00 to midnight, and then unmetered between midnight and 08:00. I never use anything near that anyway.

    Blueyonder (Telewest) 4MB cable b/b (nee 1MB).

Something like £19.99 for the b/b service (not sure, as it gets paid together with TV and t/phone, inc t/phone calls).

It's brilliant, I can't remember having a single problem in the 18 months we've had it. You do need to be able to get cable in a Telewest area though...

Im with Plusnet, they used to be really good, but over the last 6 months or so they have gone really crap, and wouldnt recommend them, they change there T&C as often Southampton change there manager, im off soon to ADSL2, but i would definatley recommend www.zeninternet.co.uk or www.nildram.net they are the best 2 i have been with, Plusnet used to be on that list but they are just sh*t now...

stay clear of Tiscali (tied into a 12 month contract at moment) and NTL (still charging me 6 months after disconnection).

I heard Bulldog are good but not really looked into it but quite cheap by all accounts

    http://www.bulldogbroadband.com/index3.asp

I would have chosen Telewest but not available in my area

Have you attached the Broadband Filter that is supplied by Tiscali?

    Pipex 1mbit ADSL, £23.50/mo.
Never, ever, ever had a problem in the year and a half I've had it. Completely stable connection, full 1mbit speed all the time.
Whats more, on CS: S my ping is usually between 10 and 20 on UK servers, and I live in the middle of nowhere!

I can back this up. Been with Pipex for a few years now, and never had a problem.

the nildram package i'm on is probably more than most are spending on broadband, but they do have other packages that cost less, but then you get less.

Nildram are owned by pipex so they should have the same or very similar deals as them.

have a look at http://www.adslguide.org.uk/ there is a huge amount of info about providers including service reviews, speed tests and large forums.
