    Wireless router time outs

im using a BT voyager 2091-FC with netgear WG 111 version2 wireless USB adapter for my wireless network. When im playing counterstrike source my connection hangs every couple of minutes, not long enough for me to get disconnected from the server, but usually long enough for to get killed and not know anything about it.

Ive tried disabling wireless zero config (WZC) in services which helped a little but hasnt stopped it from hanging.

My signal strength is shown as being 7/8 so i dont think thats the problem.

    Any idea's?

First see if there are newer drivers for your wireless card and firmware for the
    router.

I recently had to downgrade my routers firmware to a previous version and the newest
and not even beta made it crap in certain situations, which you couldnt notice just surfing.
