I did have to think hard about maths - couldn't work out cm to metres :embarrassed:
1m = 100cm, so you got the right length there. Why dont you patch some yourself David ?
ebuyer have some very cheap 50cm ones - but only if you want green. Blue is much more expensive to make, obviously!!

.3m not bad, if you want bulk of 50 they've got some cheaper ones, i've used these guys before, found them very helpful.
Crimping tool + RJ45s + cable and boots?
Learn to crimp... It's really easy when you get the hang of it and you can create cables in exactly the length you want.
No it's not! I hate making cables! Doing wiring on patch panels and sockets are fine, but I really really hate doing cables. Either that, or I'm just crap at it! (Which is probably the most likely option)Quote:

I never crimped a bad cable....
I hate crimping though :)
I'll crimp some for you at work on monday if you stilll need them... just give me a couple of quid to cover postage :)
How did you test your cables?Quote:

I think I have only ad two failures in over 100 plugs...
