What matters is if you are planning to use the turbo mode e.g. 108mbps super G or 125mbps super duper turbo mode! If you are then you need to make sure all the kit has the same chipset manufacturer otherwise the best you will get is bog standard 54mbps 802.11g!!! Which kinda defeats the purpose of flashing the cash on a super WIFI card...
