    Networking Qualifications?

    Hi,

I am looking into getting some networking qualifications, to help with getting a job in networking. I have looked into getting the following qualifications:
    CCNA
    CCNP
    LPIC-1
    LPIC-2
    MCSE
    MCSA
I was just wondering whether these were worth getting and would give me a good chance of getting a job in the industry. I am currently at university and just looking for something to study during the holidays to give me more options.

    Thanks

CCNA (followed by CCNP) is a great qualification to get if you want to get into core networking.. MCSE is good if you want to work with Microsoft servers.

there's probably more money in cisco. but if you could get both it would be an advantage. of course you really need to have experience in order for any of them to be of any real value. and it's also pricey. just the exams alone for mcse will cost you over £700
