SKY causing ADSL to hang?

just got sky last week. since then, most evenings my previously stable plusnet connection has been hanging

last night was for over 4 hrs, and had muchos work to do



any recommendations? If is due to Sky, will prob discontinue subscription

does this only do it when the box is plugged into phone socket? does it do it if you try another filter? how telephones, modems, sky boxs, caller display units have you got plugged in?
