Cheap - well £23.99 for upto 2mb (depending on location and line quality)Cheap
fast
1 Month contract
No setup fee
unlimited downloads.
Fast - again see Cheap
1 month contract.. hmm not sure about this one
No Setup fee - yes no setup fee
Unlimited downloads - yes as far as i am aware (i download an awful lot and havent been sent any emails)
This is with pipex.. but it may be worth doing a search on the web.. there is an ADSL guide on the net which would have reviews from 1000's of ADSL users and could point you in the right direction.
hope this helps
somethign like 99.9% of broadband companies have a 12 month contract, but u can cancel early but it cost £££££££. www.bethere.co.uk 24mb bb, get all the mod cons too
waano available in my area.. i kinda guessed this anyways..
There are quite a few offering monthly contracts - your problem will be unlimited downloads - just about all ISPs now either QoS your line heavily if you dowload heavily (they like to call this a "soft cap") or plain charge you if you go over a fixed amount. A lot of ISPs offer "unlimited" downloads *subject to AUP*
I think your best bet is to figure how much downloading you need to do, then check ADSL Guide for reviews of ISPs in that region.
the problem as i see it is you want it cheap, but you want the premium services too (like unmetered downloads).
how about UKOnline? Unlimited downloads on a 1mb connection for £19.99 or 2mb for £24.99
If you are their network it is a even better value: http://www.ukonline.net/broadband/comparisononnet.php
Cheap and unlimited don't go together. The only exception is Be 24M
If you want unlimited you can't go 8Mbps either, again same exception.
It is 3 month notice to end service though.
Connection fee £24 but you can easily find someone to invite you to the service getting a free month (which is £24 again, making the connection fee free)
If your area is not served by Be then you're out of luck (like me).
I'm stuck with Zen 2M package, no other unlimited ISPs <£34.99, and I can't upgrade to 8M or I lose my unlimited usage

damn, and to think we hired a whole floors worth of people to do customer service![]()

Customer service did get better but still was not up to standard.
The typical experience for customers here is 'great' until they actualy have to make a query, at which point it gets 'bad'
Our network is VERY overbuilt, although the servers could do with some improvement.

I'm still very happy with Nildram....£25, 8Mb line, 50Gb download limit (a lot).
