    Tight as a ducks butt

I am after a cheap but good Broadband ISP. ADSL i suppose. I get NTL in my street but i want a cheap Broadband package. 512 is ideal for me, anything more is a bonus.

Can anyone please recommend a good service for me? It has to be cheap!!! But reliable! Thanks all.

    It doesn't exist...

cheap = every monkey and his dog goes on it which makes network throughput cack..

Although if you only want 512k it probably doesn't matter and you can just pick any of the cheap ones at random..

Can always be handy to ask mates who live in your area what kind of service they get, my girlfriend gets loads of internet shortages for some reason... But i live a bit further away and my connection is always fine, and that's with both of us on NTL.

Then pick any of the cheapest ones you come across, as it won't matter either way.

In case it isnt quite clear yet, if you do not care about more than 512k then it makes no difference which one you pick. If you want the cheapest you will have to prepare to have minimal support as they often dont go together.

UK Online are not the best but reasonable especially taking into consideration you are looking for a cheap ISP, a number of people @ Scan use them and have had no issues hence the recommendation.

Personally I am with Zen, which are extremely good, however not the cheapest. You could also check out Pipex

Basically you get what you pay for
