I am after a Broadband ISP for my nephew. Thing is, he does not want to spend too much!! He was hoping to get one for under £15 a month, tops but not sure if that is possible.

    Thanks for link.

I'd have thought that an ISP at that price point is going to be pretty limited in terms of bandwidth , which can in turn lead to some nasty suprises if they start charging for when you exceed your allowance ?

Madasafish have been around for donkeys, I remember them advertising in magazines many, many years ago.

I can't comment on quality I'm afraid though.

Yes, you wont find a decent ISP for £15 tbh, or if you do it will have a 1gb allowance....

their 'fair use' policy is around 20GB on that option, during the hours of 6pm to midnight - they won't limit you outside that.

And they won't shut you down either - just limit your usage if you constantly go over it.

I use Freedom2Surf (www.f2s.com) because they were rated second in Which? magazine they have been very reliable in 8 months of service, provided you ditch the provided router and get a decent one.

You have got to be joking!!! The number of people getting a good connection from F2S at the moment is in single figure percentages (from the looks of their forums). People are leaving left right and centre and they are an absolute disgrace. i joined them in September and they were excellent for 2 months before Pipex bought them. Since then everything went downhill, their ping times have trebled from 8-9 to 30ms, their speed have dropped to 20% of previous standards, their tech support have all died, their routing has gone to pot and their call wait times have risen from 10mins to 3hours. A combination of those reasons made me leave them (in March) and join up with the (currently) fabulous Be*.

I've been with Euro1net for several months who are still offering 1Mb/s for £10/month (though there is a £50 connection fee unless you sign up for 2 years in advance). The account is described as unlimited and I've been using 1-3GB/day (though mostly offpeak) so they seem more generous than most others.

Meh, i've never had any problems with them.. the great thing is, they're so lax that they never notice that we go 10gigs over the limit every month . Speeds are fine for me, 200-300kbs download (fine for my 2mb).
