Plusnet do a 1 month dial-up contract, either 'lite' (20hrs) or 'standard' (160hrs) which are £4.99 or £14.99 per month look : here for details.
There are options for Premier (280hrs) or Premier+ (400hrs) but cost £29.99 and £39.99 respectively

good call, the link you gave requires you to be authenticated

that works thou.
That's not cheap, you'd have to be either in the ass-end middle of nowhere or insane to go for it :/

Wanadoo (now Orange)? Thats what i use.
Yep, stuck one dial-up, but it's not that bad. You just have to adapt (downloads over night etc). Onspeed really helps browsing too.

Yeah, i have had BB at my old house and use my friends and families connections plenty, so i know what i am missing.
Trouble is, i live in a cottage in the countryside and for some reason i am connected to the wrong exchange. There is a BB enabled exchange quite close, i have asked but BT wont switch me over. The one i am on has about 8 miles of poor line between my house it it.
If anyone has any ideas as to how i could get BT to sort this out, i would love to know!
similar situation really, me and my parents are stuck on dial up, can't get BB on our line due to a DACS device on the line which allows 2 phone lines on 1 cable. again if anyone knows of a solution to this that allows us to keep the 2nd line then i would love you long time
Its the incoming calls we need too, not sure how thats handled on VOIP, and currently we have the 2 lines using the same phone number, and besides educating my parents on how to use VOIP sounds like too much hassleOriginally Posted by aidanjt
