    Linksys WAG354G Repeat?

I have a WAG354G which i would like to repeat.

Basically i have the router sat in my hallway, but i dont want to run 3 ethernet cables to behind my TV in the living room. So i would like to stick a 4 port AP just behind the TV unit where i can plug in my consoles and htpc and have this connect to my wag354g, is this possible?

and if so what unit/product do i need?

Yes it's possible - i've managed (after lots of buggering about) to do this for a friend who's got a 2WIRE router as his base (from BT). I bought a generic repeater from scan and got it working.

This is what i bought: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=276873

_REALLY IMPORTANT_ update the firmware - it ships with complete crap which doesn't work at all in repeater mode.

Fortunately EDIMAX provide this AMAZING guide which gets you all up and running: http://www.edimax.nl/html/Faq/EW-720...de%20setup.doc

No... As I said it was a BT 2WIRE Router - BUT the edimax is a generic repeater and *should* work with most networking hardware - I can't guarantee it will work with your part. router. I had no idea if it would work when i bought it but it did the job just fine
