Ntl problems..

yesterday + today, for about 2 hours at a time, our ntl 600k was down..

google works (but is slow), microsoft.com works, and ocuk (not forums work), but all other sites i tried did not...

msn wouldn't sign in, but overnet (edonkey) worked just fine!!

this was the same on 3 pc's, none have virus's, 2 are xp, and one is 98se..

tried unplugging modem from the power for about 15 seconds, plugged it back in , and the same..

should i just ring ntl?

its been 100% fine for 1 month, then this all happens :S

NTL are having tehnical problems tonight. What a surprise

Their DNS servers are down, change them to these:

Primary DNS Server: 212.159.13.49
Secondary DNS Server: 212.159.13.50

In your connection properties.

Yeh mine went down last night...I normally see it as a message i should do something different tonight

Yup, NTL is buggered.

Apparently their DNS servers are down due to a "major outage".

my NTL (nottingham) came back about 12.30-1am last night
works fine now
