Networking for Small Office

Hey guys,
For the past year of so, we've been using a £50 el cheapo Ebuyer SWAMRU-54108 router to manage all of our networking requirements.

However, the heat really seems to have finished the poor thing off, and it falls over itself when using the VPN, or placing any heavy load on it.

So basically, I'm looking for a new gadget to replace it with.

We need:

ADSL2 Modem.
VPN Capability.
Wireless

Anything else is optional, although a 4/8-port Gigabit switch could come in handy (all PCs have Gigabit adapters, and the servers getting a bit bandwidth starved on occasion on 10/100.

Now, I've been looking at networking bits and bobs:

Either of those look rather good.

However: would I be better off buying separates i.e:

Personally I would go with the Draytek 2800, purely due to the ease of use, excellent support (it really is second to none at the moment) and reliability.
My Draytek hasn’t crashed – ever. That includes 4 systems all running bit torrent and various other applications that would kill the majority of things on the market. I have purposefully tried to kill this thing, and I just cant.

I really hate it when people claim they can not find anything wrong with their equipment, its almost as if some do it to feel like they have to justify their purchase. But I can honestly say, I can’t name one issue I have with mine

Draytek's reputation on these forums is swaying me over to the 2800...but could anyone shed any light on this information re: the ZyXel: "The Prestige 662HW features Anti-Virus technology, allowing auto-detection/elimination of viruses and worms from e-mail, Web browsing and File transfer"

Would this actually be useful, or is it marketing spiel? How would virus definition updates work etc?

Looks like you buy the licence and the router (presumably) updates from the zyxel site.

My vote goes to the Draytek! (But then I'm biased - I have one!)

OK well i'll just add my tuppence worth and say that having used both products for various clients they are both good... Draytek tend to add / improve features as time goes by whereas Zyxel tend to do what they say on the tin, and stick to it.

Zyxel stuff is often under appreciated but so far I have found it to be better than most of the SOHO competitors e.g. dlink, linksys etc, especially at this end of the price bracket.
