Software for Streaming Media to my HTPC?

    Hi guys,

I have a HTPC system under my 32" Samsung LCD connected to a router in another room via powerline ethernet. I also have my main PC in that room connected to the rooter via Cat 5.

I can share the drives on the network and do it that way but I want to stream media to the HTPC like you would with a dedicated box with a nice front end and media organiser.

Anybody know how I can do this and what software is best?
