I think the new Firmware has done it!

Still online at 3.5 SNR Margin.

I think that Draytek UK2 firmware might have nailed it for me

Oh I hope so.....I do hope so....

Wont hold out too much hope yet......just a bit.....

What IF the issue has been solved by Draytek with a stronger UPSTREAM signal?

    Reason I ask is this:

Previous telnet command I used was adsl status and I got back

lower downstream and upstream and a better SNR ratio to suit this noise level...

which is what I want EVERYTIME I log on...not just at the critical moment at night.

Ah man! I was gonna post "Yay, nice one mate!"

But I guess its back to the drawing board.

The increase in far end SNR is good news.

As this is only happening at night am wondering if this is a contention issue on the DSLAM in the exchange. Could it be dropping out under excessive load???

    Could well be.
Even if this firmware had fixed it - you have an issue that needs sorting anyway

Well I left it on last night, over night, as it had synced at a lower speed just after midnight, and having done that, this morning the SNR margin is 11.5

So from where I'm say, my area just gets busy late at night on the telephones.

Least I have the screenies to show the BT dude when he/she arrives.

Cheers guys, I'll leave it one now 24/7 and see what occurs. Got people coming round tonight for IL-2 so i NEED stable!

Zak, been reading your threads about the connection dropouts and I was very pleased for you when I saw this one! That was until I got a few posts down and saw that the issue was still there.

Sorry I can't offer any useful suggestions, just wanted to wish you the best of luck.
