Broadband without the 12 month contract?

    Hello,

Is there anyone half-decent who provide broadband without a 12 month contract that you are tied to? IE perhaps you might want to cancel after 3 months ?

    Thanks

    Josh

    Zen..
1 month at a time. no hassle.

Small connection charge IF it needs activating, free transfer from other provider.

£25 per month. 1 gig web space. 20 gig download limit. Absolutely no pressure to stay. 1 month at a time. Period. Have used then at Sair's old house for 2 months, then moved house, no hassle at all.

If you are looking for something on the cheap too then have a look at newnet they get a
decent score on adslguide and I couldnt really critical complaints about them.

I think directhex said in a post that he used newnet.

Nildram are also worth looking at. £26 on a monthly contract for up to 8mb and 50gb peak usage. They also have a cheaper option.

Another vote for Zen, I had to apy £47 activation as my old ISP (Freedom2Surf) wouldn't give me a Migration Code thing.

http://freeola.com/ do a 3 month trial 9.99/14.99 per month for 8meg, im using it untill a good llu provider gets here.

i also got free activation, which was also the main reason of me going with them, most other isp's would have charged me about £50

can find contract lengths here http://www.moneysupermarket.com/broadband/ Quick glance looks like EFH Broadband, Biscit and Virgin.net do 1 month contracts.

i've done a quick rekkie at some of the providers i could find on the net and worked out the total cost of ownership for 9months for a wee comparison:

I've been with freedom2surf and like their adslguide reports - i think they're fab. I particularly like their unmetered access 1am-6am

NDO/Namesco are doing some cracking deals with no setup fee etc but the obligatory fee if you leave before 12months, can still be worth it though.

    Try adslguide.org.uk
