ADSL + Screeching on the line

Guys,
I've got a pair of wireless BT Studio 1100 phones, plugged into an ADSL filter. On another socket, I have a Netgear wireless ADSL router. When I try to use the phones I occasionally get a very high pitched whistling, which increases and decreases in volume.

Anyone have any idea what's likely to be the problem? I'm sure it's not a problem with the house wiring as we just moved, and had exactly the same problem with the old place.

I've placed the phone base stations next to each other to minimise the chance of interference there.

Replace your filters - they're usually the culprit for this kind of behaviour

Yeah, sounds like your low-pass filters are passing a little more than low

Yes, and get good quality ones (they'll cost about £6 upwards) the cheaper ones that look like phone splitters don't really cut it.

replace the current MicroFilter(s) and buy quality MicroFilters.
