It now seems to be working intermittantly.
But it only needs a quick reboot to get it sorted.
This is about in line with the e-bu*er customer feedback.
Still worth the lemonade price tag!

If you update the firmware it fixes the intermittent problem. Try www.origo2000.com for support.

Would this product not only enable 2 computers to share a net connection but also network them as well, or would I need a seperate router/switch for that?

According to the F.A.Q you can - connect one with ethernet, one with USB.

    Yep, I've done that ok.

One problem with this router is, when it's connected via USB, cpu temp rises about 10C.
Disconnect the USB and temp goes back to normal.Anyone else have this?
I'm begining to wish I'd bought the 4 port version.

Oh, and it's fine with emule etc.
Just use the virtual server to open up the ports required by emule, bittorrent etc.

You're limited to 20 ports or ranges, and can't set both udp and tcp with one setting, so it's not ideal for me here where there're six or seven machines regularly up and running emule, msn file sharing, irc dcc etc. Apart from that it's not a bad little router.

Just installed a 4 port version of this for a m8, never set up a router before (although had a fair bit of network experience), from out of the box I had firmware updated and setup in under 5 minutes seems very stable and passes all shields up test.

    For £40 its a steal.

I've put a few of the 4 port versions of these in for clients and I have to say for the money they are fantastic.
