Anyone getting the new draytek router?

Well after my router died, I've decided to go for a draytek. I've pre-ordered the Vigor 2910VG. I don't particularly need VOIP, but the G version of the router won't be out for a while. I'm hoping wireless signal strength will be better + more reliable. It better had be for the price . I'll post a mini review when it comes.

I hope as well as being reliable (wired and wireless), that it produces fast transfer speeds.

Good stuff, look forward to mini review. Include screenshots if you can..

I'm keeping an eye on 2700g as that's more affordable alternative.

Interested to, I really fancy it but need to justify the price by seeing how good reviews are

I'd be tempted to check out the best source of information which is the Draytek forums......especially if you are on ADSLMax....

    Hi guys,

In the end I got the Draytek Vigor 2910G. So far it seems great. The wireless was ok. One other nark I have is that if I use our Epson R300 printer whilst it's plugged into the Router's USB port - you tend to have to reboot the router when you want to use it in order for it to work. It's really odd, I'll set it all up and it'll work - leave it for a few days and it won't. I am on the firmware it launched with - but I don't really want to change it incase it damages it .

you can downgrade aswell as upgrade the firmware.

the latest firmware is there but I think deeper searching will reveal all previous firmwares aswell
