Since we had a storm yesterday morning, my WL500G will not pick up a connection from my cable modem. The "power" and "air" lights are on, and each LAN port lights up when I stick a cable in it. However the WAN light (and hence port) seem completely dead. I can connect to the router itself and access the status page, which lists the WAN as disconnected, and will not reconnect when I click the appropriate button. I've rest the router a couple of times, checked the firewall etc, all with no joy, the connection to the modem appears to be physically dead.
I've contacted Scan customer services to enquire about returning the router (warranty expires on 20/11), but was wondering if there's anything else I can try in the meantime.
