how do we share files over a network?

We set up a network...and everything is pretty much fine except we have no idea on how to share files with each other. I checked a previous thread but it didn't really answer my question.

How would we go about sharing files?

if anyone knows of URL that describes it in decent detail please link me if you don't could you be kind enough to type it out thank you!

Make sure everyone runs the network setup wizard in the 'my network places' 'folder', that'll make XP automatically share your shareddocs folder.

Then to access them open up My Network Places and you will see everyone elses shared documents.

If you do not see other peoples shared documents then type in \\computername\\shareddocs to get to their shareddocs.

If you want to share another folder right click it & click sharing.
