Hi,
Is it possible to have a VPN connection to a Draytek router from the Netgear. I know it's possible to have it on the Draytek as i've set that up many times. But on the Netgear router i cant seem to find the menu. Maybe im going blind???!!

If you're talking gateway-to-gateway, then I don't think the Netgear has the capability to act as a VPN endpoint; it'll allow VPN passthrough, but won't act as an IPSec gateway itself.
Hi,
I just just about to post the same thing. I found out some info on the net about this and your right. You need a thing called prosafe client (software).
I really need gateway to gateway, so look like i'll have to pick up another Draytek.
Thanks for your help though.

You're welcome .
Yeah you can use DG834s as VPN clients to IPSec tunnels, we've done so

Hi, I am trying to create a LAN to LAN VPN on my Netgear and Draytek Router.
The tunnel seems to be up, but it doesn't seem to be passing any traffic through, i can't ping anything on the other side.
Does anyone have any ideas why this might be the case?
I managed to sort myself
