    Smile BT Home Hub...

Hey all, been asked to supply and fit a WiFi PCI card in a pc to connect to a BT Home Hub. I was wondering if anyone here had used one, knew of any problems with any brands of WiFi cards, that sort of thing?. Looking to place an order with Scan tomorrow so any help welcome!.

God help you having to deal with Thompson kit. Nothing but problems i've suffered with there products and poor ui's. On a more helpful note I'd imagine most wireless network cards should work with it. I havent been able to find a list of recommended wireless network cards but that should not matter. On another note ... its daft that a new 'hub' phone for it retails on the BT Shop for £10 less then a homehub which comes with the phone in the first place!

Not everyone has problems with their home hubs. Mine worked perfectly fine while I had it. Granted it's not worth the £89 bt claims it's worth but i'ts far from rubbish!

I've got one sitting at home - haven't tried setting it up though.

Most cards should work, but getting a decent quality one would be a good step if it needs to be reliable

all my mates use their different pcs/laptops to connect to the bt wireless hub.

nigh on evberything should connect to it, the wep key and name is all on the back of the router, so install your wireless card, and enter in the name and password and it should all work
