    Thumbs down Fast and Reliable 2MB BB!?

    Hi,

    im ive currently got a 8MB NTL connections but it never seems to run above 2MB and thats when its actually working

    Thinkin of getting rid of it

    What would be a good replacement!?

    Looking for 2MB now as it seems sufficiant

    Has got to be reliable! and unlimited!?

    something serioulsy wrong there if it's cable as it should be pretty close to the advertised speed.

    yeh i no

    have spoke to NTL several times who have said there having issues!
    which will be resolved soon!

    but nothing has changed speed wise in the last month or so getting a bit fed up so gna make a change and tell them were to go!

    didnt know ntl did an 8 mbit service only 2 4 and 10.

    ask them for a refund then due to the crap service.
    If you go ADSL depending upon where you are from the exchange you've a higher chance of not getting the advertised speed than on cable (when it's working as intended).

    ps. NTL are trialling 20 & 50 Mb ...

    Have you reset your modem at all ? try a power down for 10 mins or so and see if that works.
