    Access Point Required

Looking for an Access Point that's perhaps Draft N spec, any recommendations?

The only requirement it has is that it must be 'bridgeable'.

Don't think they make any Draft-N kit, but all the 3Com wireless routers/AP's I've used are solid

most reports on Draft N or Pre N are not encouraging performance wise, I would stick with trusty old G at the moment.. Bridgeable will limit your choice as lots (err most) of low wireless adsl routers do not support this.

    This may help http://www.wi-fiplanet.com/tutorials...le.php/1563991

Here is some kit that will but you will not like the costs.... http://www.wirelesspro.co.uk/default...FRpCEAodpAuBQw

I know NetGear used to do them, but don't know about now... worth checking

Another vote for 3com I've only ever used their 11g stuff and it's great imo.

They do now do some 108mbps stuff, not sure about draft-N stuff. Misco usually have a good selection of 3com to choose from

i would personally recomend the WRT54GL, damn stable, and if you dont like the firmware, replace it with one of the hundreds of third party ones avaliable

Yeah - I think it's in store only and that might just be certain stores... they always seem to do silly prices on IT kit from time to time, they were also selling Linksys WAG54G routers for a tenner and wireless print servers for £6

I would stay away from any draft/pre n kit for now.

Recent reviews of the linksys kit and other pre n stuff shows it not performing quite like it should.
