Wireless Networking....? Confuzzeld!!
Hi,
Ive got 3 Pc's at home I want to wirelessly network together for file sharing purposes
Ive got wireless in my house which is shared with 3 other people
So what I want to do is have all 3 of my pc connected together wirelessly while using the same wireless card's for the internet at the same time
My 3 pc’s have also got to be secure to prevent anyone else getting to my files!
Is this possible..?
If so how!!??

So you want all 3 machines connected without wires, and connected to the internet, fair enough.
What network hardware do you have at the moment?
You would need a Wireless Router and a Modem, or a Wireless Router with a Modem built into it for all the machines to connect together and connect to the internet.
You could use a switch, but i'm not sure if there is such a thing as a wireless switch - as I said, post what hardware you have at the moment and i'm sure me or others will be able to help you out

the 3 machines are currently all conected to the internet through a lynksys router connected to a NTL modem
the internet is set up fine im just not sure how to do the networking side of things for my Pc's
