    Attaching Wireless to 2000 Server

    Hi all,

We have a small Windows 2000 Server network. Recently, a couple of our youth workers have been using their own laptops to connect to the Internet via our wireless access point.

Issues have arisen and now I wish for these users to login to the network using their Server accounts.

Has anybody attached a wireless access point to a small network server in order to allow wireless users to access network resources?

I've purchased a new router with better security and have installed a second card in the server ready to be hooked up to the new wireless device but I'm unsure as to how I would do it..

I would also like to not allow them access to the internet until they've logged in.

I have a rough idea as to I'm going to go about this but would appreictae absolutely ANY advice!

    Many thanks guys,

    Nimble.

http://www.windowsnetworking.com/kba...1xclients.html should give you a good grounding in setting up IAS.
