Im guessing that like me your still on the old pipex 1mb unkimited deal. Even by todays standards thats a little high. SKY had a major problems initially not sure how they are doing now as i dont use them but go here http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/postlist...apsed&sb=5&o=0 and u should be able to get a good idea of whats going on

    Permanently confused

sky is much better than when they first started and if u are a sky customer is dirt cheap, u get 2MB capped for free (small install fee), up to 8MB capped for £5, again small install fee, or up to 16mb uncapped for £10 no install fee. U also get a free wireless router, it isnt the best but works. It also depends on wether u r in a sky area otherwise u get their connect package which is up to 8mb via BT

I'm in the Sky area so can get all the services - was thinking of the 16Mb service for £10 but I am concerned that they do not do outward migrations due to the use of LLU - you basically have to let them clear down the line for up to 30 days before switching away from them. I have decided to stay with Pipex for now - got them to knock off a fiver from their 8Mb unlimited service. Not as cheap as Sky (I'll be paying £20) but you get what you pay for I think.

Pipex are the biggest waste of space at the moment.

I've had them at home for over 3 years and up until this summer past they were great but lately at home and at Uni the service hasn't been great and the tech support don't have a clue.

When the contract runs out it's definitely going to be a switch, clearly spent too much money get getting the Hoff in...
