My son turned one on the 12th, my daughters are 3 and 7
The wife is really enjoying buying boys stuff, so much so I think she would rather play with it then give it to him!!!
how long before you can get a scalextrix ?
Funnily enough, we have already been discussing that hehe!
My father in law believes their old one is still in her eldest sisters loft.
yeah but its not the top gear track is it ?
Eight kids. :surrender: The eldest is now 20, the youngest 10.
No, they're not all mine.
Bought big Scalextrix this year for the mid-range boys, 13 and 16. Previous presents I've influenced have included the Spacehoppers and the Lego Ferrari

8 ! thats enough for your own football team with subs !
Heh - My eldest son is more into Basketball. But then he's 6' 4" at 16. He's was playing for the Canberra Cannons juniors. Like most teenagers he's less keen now that he's disovered 'other interests'. ;)
A boy aged 2 and another child of unknown sex on the way - due on Star Wars Day.
In fact - in honour of the new forum I'll change my avatar to a picture of my son!
4 daughters here :)
One daughter, who will be six months old on Saturday :D
Can't wait till Christmas, she already loves the Christmas tree with all its sparkly goodness.
One son who is 6, gotta love all the barely believable excuses a dad can pull just to play games with his son lol. The lass hates it mind xD
am i allowed in? I've got myself a 7 year old son part-time by proxy... Learning a lot!
Phage is Hexus.Uberdad :)
Signing in.
Garage and toy cars bought for Xmas? Check. ;)
Mini Scalextric being eyed up? Check ;)
Another one signing in!
Fishcake Jnr just completed his first decade 3 days ago :)
Looking forward to this christmas with my 2 boys
James 3 in Jan
&
Joshua 6 months on the 21st December
:)
Big up the Dad possy!
Me! One small (4 month old) boy who from 6.30 this morning was trying to commune with whales and dolphins. I didn't know that humans could make such high pitched and loud noises!
Yep, count me in! Sophie will be 8 months this Christmas!
Reached the crawling stage, which sucks as her new favourite toy is Dad's laptop cable! :(
Two boys, one 4 1/2 and the other 8 months.
My oldest is allready a geek and loves computers, he's allmost as good as me on 'Plants vs Zombies'.
18 month old boy at christmas. i think he may have a rough Idea whats going on but not o sure. He can do wrapping paper well!
Small one was 1 beginning of November - she's not crawling, but IS mobile. Found the basket of toys last night, bum-shuffled over to it and frankly, eviscerated it completely, then sat and grinned fit to bust :) Smashing...
Two that i know of.. Boy 19 / girl 15 going on 20...:help: Every morning i look in the mirror and tell myself don't you dare die on me you bastard..
One 6yr old girl, who's basically bullied us into getting her a Wii...
6 Year old girl and 3 (nearly 4) year old boy.
Have wii, ds, xbox, mini scalextric, proper sized scalextric (but that's mine anyway), islabikes, and r/c cars.
It's all fun :)
Our first son, Malin, is over 14 months old now and so we're looking forward to Christmas here as well.
Three for me.
Son aged 7
Daughter aged 5
Son aged 5 months
Can't decide whether we're finished yet - the wife hates the fact there's an uneven number of people in the family, and wants to round it out with another girl.
One of each....
Son aged 18, daughter of 16
+1.
Except my son isnt called Malin. An unusual name that - what is the origin, if you dont mind me asking?
PS I certainly am looking forward to this christmas for him, however our niece is another year older and we took advatage of matty-hodgson's great thread here - if you havent yet, it puts Huuuuge smiles on little one's faces.
I'm the dad of Lucy, 10 weeks old but 8 weeks premature !
very tired and to top it off im fitting a new kitchen that should have been done in time for the birth, but she popped out early :(
dad of 2 beautiful little girls :) 1 four and 1 one and a half!
Hmmm, seems im going to have to produce a child - do illegitimate ones count
S'ok Shelley, you're family here :)
Our little girl, Ripley, has just turned 4 months old. 5 nights on the trot she's slept through until a sensible hour, or after I've gone to work.
Little lad is in the "Car Nursery" it's snowing and he is going mental. BTW he can't say conservatory.
I have :
Girl - 12
Girl - 10
Boy - 8
They grow up really quickly, only five minutes since they were tiny little dots that you had to do everything for!
I am not a Dad yet... however I will be getting the best Mithras day present there is, our child is expected on January 1st!
Don't they just grow up to be big dots that you have to do everything for?...
My little lad is just over 2 now. Proper cheeky little monkey (in a good, cute way!) I love the fact you can have proper conversations at this age & he tells me what's he's been upto at playgroup etc.
He also know how to put his fave DVDs on using my PS3, that's my boy, a geek in training!
EDIT: In the spirit my avatar is him on his 2nd birthday enjoying some 'caaaaaaaake' (his words not mine)
You have no idea, think we have circa 5000 photos on the PC.
Missus said in august a really nice present would be to have some of them printed and put in an album, so I created a "Favourite 50" folder.
Just had them printed and will be putting in album and wrapping this weekend, all 257 of them (favourite 50 lol).
I am very lucky
I have a
son 16
Daughter 12
Its true they grow up so quickly and they demand more money, a taxi service, a valet,a house keeper etc etc
Best thing i ever did.
:)
Relatively cheap present too, about £13 for the prints (only 6x4), £5 for the album.
£18 to be able to look back at all those memories.
Ignoring the fact that they are all saved on my fileserver and we have two HD TVs, both with Popcornhour attached that can show the photos.
Dad signing in here. Son is 2.5! Getting to the point where he has cool toys now!
I'm waiting for the time when i can sit with mine and introduce him to Star Trek. Then Next Gen. Then DS9..... :)
Anyone else take the kids sledging? Snowman building?
Lot of fun.
Fairly new dad here reporting in a little late I know but I've been moving this week so got no web access at home.
I'm father to Hayden who is just a little over 6.5 months now. However, my partner Sharon already has children from a previous relationship and has a 17 year old Girl, a 16 year old girl and a 11 year old son.
Got 4 of um, aged from 11 to 2
One son 13 months old and another on the way, due in June, the sex will be a surprise.
I'm a dad of one 5 year old boy.... well atleast one that I know of...
I've got two little boys one's just turned 3 and the other is 1 in Jan.
It's great having small uns at xmas as everything is so exciting for them. Now Eric is 3 the toys get much more fun for erm Daddy!
I've got a lovely 13month old girl, who has a very snotty nose at present.
She isn't really old enough for toys, but that doesn't stop us... any excuse (is 13months too young for technic lego... you should have seen the set I was... *cough* she was bought for Christmas!) :D
I can now officially be a member, our baby girl was born on December 26th. I am a very proud dad and clearly think my kid is the best ever!
Congrats fella & welcome to Hexus.Dads! :D
Cool beans :) Have lots and lots of fun with the little one oolon :)
Congrats oolon! Really happy for you. :)
I too am a Dad: Three girls 6, 4, and 2. Coolest little dudettes in the world.
Gawd - I feel old.
Was there anyone else with teenagers ?
I'm not quite a Dad yet, but our first is coming along in July!

nice scan Mark :)
get all your gaming done now mate ;)
Do they make special "hold your baby and your controller" Chairs? I'd buy one!
When Faye was scant weeks old, she was small enough to fit in the croook of my left arm while I played FPS :)
Hayden loves sitting in her baby chair we have for her or even on the bean-bag chairs while I'm on the 360 playing FIFA 10 or Dragon Age.
Saying that she also has a thing for football at the moment as she sits quietly while football is on the TV, even if it is an advert for a forthcoming game she'll stop whinging as soon as the football is on, and carry on making noise after it finishes.
She loved watching Man Utd vs Leeds the other day on TV even if Man Utd did get beat and she didn't make a peep all match apart from a few giggles and gurgles.
It might be worth me investing in Sky Sports at this rate if it keeps her quiet all the time :)
Oh and before you ask.... Yes she does have a baby Man Utd Replica Kit which she loves wearing.
1 son(7), and another on the way (8months to go) :)
My 3rd old girl starts nursary this week!
Hmmm, v late to this thread...
2 daughters, some of you know them...
Eldest turned 14 last week, the youngest is 10 in May.
I am counting the days until they leave me and the missus in peace! ;)
14??? jeeeeesus. Time flies huh? :)
3 kids here and another on the way in 2 months
My friend had a baby due on Star Wars Day a couple of years ago. He was going to call him Luke but settled on Luca.
I have two children, a 2 yr old girl and 6 month boy.
Whenever the TV is on, my daughter will constantly repeat "Me no watch this, me no watch this" until you turn the TV on to CBeebies or the Simpsons at which point she will say "Me watch this, me watch this".
If you let my son get hold of the TV remote control then he'll suck the end of the remote control and press the keys flipping between channels whilst my daughter says "Me no watch this, me watch this, me no watch this, me watch this". Great fun until the wife catches you.
One good thing I will say about Virgin Media, when your child has sucked the life out of their remote control they will happily send you a new one.
I'm gonna be a step-grandad shortly at the ripe old age of 31 :surprised:
I'll get my pipe and slippers later and invest in a rocking chair soon ;)
I have a little girl, approx 3.3 years old!
I already have one son who has just turned 4 and another baby (a girl) on the way in June.
At the moment me and the wife are struggling to get a name for the girl - at the moment Sophie seems favorite.
What did you call your girls, if you dont mind me asking.... need to get ideas from somewhere and Hexus seems as good a place as any
4 sprogs, with a bun in her oven.....all mine me thinks:undecided
I had no idea we had a parenting thread!
Put me down for one 4 year old son (four in a fortnight, anyway), and a 15 month old daughter.
Son is essentially a little clone of me, to the extent that my parents think he's identical to how I was at that age.
I'm a little more senior in years than most here but Dad to three daughters, one aged 23 and twins aged 21.
Sophie & Lucy (Da Twins) are taking me to Thorpe Park on 26th March for my Birthday pressie. Yay!
They all seem to have turned out ok, much to my surprise...
One son aged 8 Months, he's a great wee fellow
I have a lovely baby girl aged 5 months now today, I was so proud and still am of everything that happened on that special day
Love both mum and Katie so much
6 year old son here. Just had the OP a couple of weeks back so he will be the only one we have.
I got snipped over 25 years ago :) Works wonders for yer libido :)
My kids are all growed up at age 32 (ish) and a twin boy girl set at 26 ish (yes, Im hopeless).
Im also a grandad to a little nearly one year old girl with eyes you could drown in :)
yeah that op. Op itself not too bad got a post op infection in the right side though it was bigger than a tennis ball at it's worst, Had to rush to hospital and they cut it open and drained etc. Left the hole Open to heal naturally so still not fully recovered yet 3 weeks on
Totally agree even when i had the infection and felt like i was constantly being kicked in the N*** i was still desperate to get some from the wife.
New member signing in!
First is now 2 1/2 and the second is due in October! I've already had most of my toys recycled into various baby neccessities so as long as I keep anything new hidden, the new arrival shouldn't have too much of an impact on belongings. :censored:
