Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack
off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.
Noisy toys
Xylophone, drums, rattles or anything remotely noisy... thats what Hayden got for her first birthday in June along with loads of clothes, shoes and even more clothes.
Shame she seems to be drawn to my PC more and running off with the mouse giggling and then trying to hit the rockband drum kit with my mouse.
something like this:

Basically.. a wooden walker with wooden blocks in to play with,.
Zak Jr has one, he's has it since he was just under 1 and it's still used at over 3 years old! OK, he can walk now, but the blocks are still used. His one as 3 sets of blocks... 1 set wooden, 1 set plastic and squeaky and one set soft fabric and squeezy.
I'd say it's had... hundreds of hours play and is still like new.. and it came from ebay!

she has already destroyed my laptop keyboard
fortunate it is already dead and i use a dinovo for it/
Seeing as your kid seems to have everything (lucky thing!) have you considered a pet?
no pets, they piss and crap on the carpets and need looking after, something we are unable to do as we both work and Lucy is at nursery
It seems to me that whatevery you buy, it's the things they shouldn't have that a more interesting!
What's that son, you like opening and closing mummy's laptop lid, ok here's a fisher price one - nope still the one mummy has.
You like rolling dog food tins down the kitchen, here's a big bag of balls - nope still the tins.
You like going after the dog's bucket of toys.. ok here's a dog toy for you (milton wiped)... nope.
Sky remote you say, buy a spare one for him to play with - nope, I know that's a dud give me the real one...

My sister got Louise an indoor ball pool for her first birthday because i had brought one for my nephew when he was 1. Both kids love it!! Just try and get a smallish one we've had to buy around 500 balls to make it look like it has a decent amount in there and it is really annoying trying to get them back into the bags.
She mainly got clothes from us and a bouncy castle for the garden (but that was more to entertain the children we had coming to her party rather than for her specifically). We also got her some books which she adores, but we are starting to hate. I now know Each Peach Pear Plum off by heart!!
I agree with Chadders though it doesn't matter what you buy them, what they aren't allowed is always more fun! Lou's favourite game at the moment is sitting on Moby's chair and bashing on the keyboard and clicking the mouse, despite having an absolute moutain of various toys in the living room.
