Ford Galaxy without doubt, it's essentially like a small van so all family members are very comfortable, and the newer models, despite their large size have a nice torque on em, doesn't feel like a hefty family car when you're in it!
I recommend RANGE ROVER 2018, it's my choice though. Beautifully appointed inside for luxurious comfort
An iconic silhouette that’s unmistakable. 35.4 inches wading depth. Optional Long Wheelbase
Height: 73.3 inches; Length: 196.8 inches; Width: 86.6 inches. So it is very big enough for the family. That's my opinion though.
Anything but a Qashqai - piece of junk! Loving the Leon estate we replaced it with (£20 a year road tax vs £270 - 60+ MPG vs ~30MPG) but to be honest a golf or Octavia estate is practically the same car if you want an alternative...
Going to recommend Hyundai i30/Kia Ceed if you want cheap and practical A to B - my 60 plate i20 (dealer ex-demo) just keeps running with nothing but servicing, battery, tires and brakes in 8 years/70000 miles. I thrash the living daylights out of it daily too (6000 rpm as I have the auto and it loves dropping a gear). It may exceed the motorway speed daily too... Its survived 2 cars of the wifes (Qashqai+2 and Astra). Astra was a steaming pile too - just not as bad as the Qashqai...
Probably a bit late, but my choice of family car would be a Honda Civic >2012.
