    A64 3000+ spotted and on sale..

    I was pondering wether to get a P4 based shuttle or A64 and this CPU has just made my mind up

    wow almost half the price, does this only have 512k of cache tho rather than 1mb?

    Yeah apparently so, but im unsure how this will affect performance, hopefully it wont hurt it that much.

    its got a a64 core - its gonna be good, the extra cache will slow it down tho, my bet is its better than a barton xp3000

    In the game tests the 3000XP A64 beats the 3.2Ghz P4 hands down in all but one test (where its only 2fps off the pace)!

    Trust me, the A64s really do kick ass! And now there's the 3000XP A64 there affordable as well!
