    Question New Monitor Help

    Hi,

I am thinking of getting these two monitors.

The Widescreen one (top) is for my rig in the sig. Will the 9800 Pro be able to cope with the widescreen and resolutions? The Ati website says that widescreen monitors are supported at 1920x1080, the monitor has a resolution of 1440x900. What does this all mean, will it work?

Also the second monitor is for a very very old computer (500mhz!!). It uses built in graphics. Should the monitor work?

    Cheers for any help.

p.s. any recommendations about other monitors are most welcome as well.

Yes they'll both work. Very cheap also which is good!

    Cheers Guys.

Will the 19" be ok for the gaming (ghosting etc?)

Why not dabs by the way, bad experience? I've never used them before.

The thing about Dabs is just a personal thing.... I've never had any trouble with them but have had no end of problems with Scan, but then again there are people on here who swear by Scan, so...............

Dabs are fine unless you require their "customer service"

Theres no phone line which is disgusting for such a well known retailer...especially when they are owned by BT...im never letting that go lol.

Just a tip..never try and use their online chat service with firefox...you dont stand a chance for some reason.

I hate them presonally...I prefer to spend my money on scan or overclockers as you know you almost always get a good s
ervice and if you dont...you can flame them on this forum and then they become even more helpful...saying that i've never had a problem.

I bought a 7900gtx from them...it was DOA and took me about 2 and a half weeks to get it sent back
after started the RMA then they started messing me around with credit notes rather than the refund I requested.

    Never again.

    Cheers for the help guys.

In the end i ordered then from cclonline. Both the monitors are fantastic, brilliant. Would recommend them to anyone.

cclonline were amazing. I ordered at about 11pm Sunday night and the items were here 9am Tuesday. I only paid £1 more postage than the cheapest one. Highly recommended store.
