Changing ram

Do you think I would see any performance increase from changing from the DDR2 533 ram that came with my dell to faster ram such as this.

I can't overclock on my current set-up, and my current set-up is on my my computer.

Thats amazingly cheap, i expect you would see a small rise, nothing to huge though.

Great price for some of that stuff though.

If your current ram is 4-4-4-12, then that new ram will be slower, the only benefit youll see is when you start to overclock.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I'm tempted to buy it while it's cheap so it's there if I do decide to make a build and so I have 2 slots free, as I currently have 4 sticks of 512.

It might run at 4-4-4-12, but no guarantees, especially as its value ram.

cheap good ram thats for sure wont make any difference to your performance though whatsoever.
