Ok I changed them all to disabled.
I changed the vcore voltage to auto
There is nothing on the Geil website about those values
The sticker on the RAM says 4-4-4-12 2.1v so Im pretty sure it runs at that.
I shall run orthos overnight again and run memtest in the morning when I turn off USB legacy support.

Also after I took out the CMOS battery and set the jumpers and booted back into the BIOS, when I changed the "configure DRAM timing by SPD" to disabled the timings were 5-6-6-15. So I put it back on enabled and changed the DRAM freq to DDR2-533

CPU-Z reports the FSB: DRAM ratio is 1:1 with 4-4-4-12 now.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

SPD should be disabled and the timings manually set, but you should be ok.

Ah right ok. I shall do that.

I was playing cs just now with everything default and set like you said. And it crashed again. Could it be a overheating problem more than anything else?

Did you do a fresh install of windows when you installed the motherboard? Have you installed the latest chipset drivers? Soundcard driveers (if you have one), graphics drivers etc.

Heat could be a problem, best way to test this is to take the side of the case off, get a desk fan and blow it in there and play a game, see if it crashes.

What temps are you getting again?

    Fresh install - Check
Updated Drivers on all accounts - check
    Desk fan, will do.

CPU Temps are about 53-55C on load and the mobo is about 41 - 43 when I get into the BIOS after the crash.

try taking off the heatpipe cooler and youl probably find that the northbridge isnt making proper contact, you may need to bend the pipe a touch so it sits flat and reapply some thermal paste. An unfortunate Asus quirk.

Ok. I was just doing simple browsing while on vent and then PC probe popped up a msg saying "Vcore voltage warning" and then it listed each voltage rail and then rebooted.
So I have upped the vcore to 1.2500 and I also checked the temps. CPU was at 43C and the mb was 40C.

The vcore was on auto when that happened.
I was attempting to just play some games and relax, but I how long do I have to run memtest for?

Run it overnight if you can on test 5. You can grab a bootable cd image from the memtest website, or its on UBCD.

I did the same read 2.1v on the sticker so thought that will be right. Geil says on their site Working Voltage : 1.9-2.3V so I guess trial and error depending on the board you are using.

Ok well it cant be heat issues, as I had a desk fan pointing at the Nbridge hs/ ram. The ram was cold to the touch! and the Nbridge was slightly warm.

Redlight - is it running at 4-4-4-12?

Btw I appreciate all your help clunk. Is there a chance you think it could be a faulty mobo or RAM?
