    Which keyboard?

    I've got some old Logitech keyboard, which is frankly abysmal!
    I've been writing an essay on it and it's horrible to use. So I'm looking at getting a new one. I've had a look at Scan, OcUK etc. but I can't find anything that looks any good.
    It'll mainly be used for msn, writing essays, a bit of gaming and media keys would be a bonus.
    Any help would be great.

    I have a Saitek Eclipse (first version) as well, it's an excellent keyboard, well laid out, very solid. Brilliant for gaming and typing alike

    I'd recommend the BenQ X-Touch 805 keyboard.
    I have had it for two years and its on par with my ThinkPad laptop keyboard in terms of quality.

    I have the Eclipse 2 and would also recormend it, in fact 3 other mates have also got it and love it too!

    You shouldn't pay more than £30 for one (Amazon stock it).

    all the above its an OK keyboard, the keys are spongey though.

    i have the g15, not through being a one better type person, i like logitech service. and the keys are brilliant, it may be big but the quality is something you cannot argue with imo.

    @Lee: which do you prefer?

    And have you tried the Saitek before?

    I also own a basic black Cherry keyboard and that has always been a good bet as well. A lot cheaper than my Eclispe 2!

    The saitek is actually simple and solid. I had a logitech desktop set in the past and the keys started getting sticky and began eating through batteries like there's no tomorrow, I was buying lithium batteries on a fortnightly basis during shopping.
