Nope, all modern motherboards can run Vista, heck mine is growing mushrooms and it runs Vista, it's just another buzzword being tossed about in the industry.

I think its to do with the board using that usb stick thing properly. That Vista thing.. think its the TPM thing...thing...

Hahah, that's funny, just like CSS would stop DVD pirating. DRM isn't designed to stop pirating, it's designed to rip people off, increase incompatibilities, and rob people of their rights.

That was indeed interesting. I'll be having the P5B Plus Vista Edition with me tomorrow for a build I'm doing so will have a play around with that. The board got the remote control. Built in 512MB of NAND (for vista ready boost) and that TPM thingy for bit locker.
NAND hmm i heard thats not exactlly winning medals like it was supposed to do... may have read this on Hexus
It would help if Windows would keep more stuff cached instead of paging everything off to swap for no real reason.
It's funny how backwards everything is in the windows world, hardware designed around the OS, and the OS designed around bad programs.
